Hi there!
I’m Dr. Hicks! I’m a 2024 graduate of NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Go Wolfpack! Prior to attending veterinary school I worked full time at various animal hospitals in the Wilmington area after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in marine biology from UNCW.
My favorite part of veterinary medicine is getting to build long term bonds with my clients and patients. I have a soft spot for rescue pets, specifically pitbulls, chihuahuas, and all the cats! I am so happy to be back in the area, this time with my husband and our own pets and am elated to be part of the Southport Animal Hospital team!
